PRESIDENT

Michael Glasser founded the company in Charleston, WV and today operates it out of Asheville, NC. The Charleston office shares space in the historic Washburn building with Meyer, Ford & Glasser, PLLC, the law firm where Michael began practicing in 1999. Prior to starting Washburn Property & Contracting over 10 years ago, Michael's law practice focused on trial work, with an emphasis on environmental, consumer and general litigation cases.

Michael is a licensed contractor as well as managing member of his law firm. He is a former member of the West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments, which is charged with managing the individual investment pools and accounts of the state’s Consolidated Fund, under authority of the West Virginia Treasury Investments Act. The Consolidated Fund provides for the investment of the state's short-term operating funds, as well as providing the opportunity for local governments to participate in large investment pools.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Keri is thoughtful, analytical, and compassionate and brings all those qualities to the table, while keeping the entire Washburn operation running smoothly.

Keri is involved in all aspects of the business including personnel, finance, and operations. She also manages and is involved in all aspects of Washburn’s home building and commercial construction divisions.

Keri is a native of Asheville, where she lives with her two children.

VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Kris is responsible for Washburn projects across the country. His deep understanding of the work we perform is informed from his past experiences. Prior to joining Washburn, Kris worked in welding, bridge and road repair as well as general contracting. He also gained invaluable experience during his work on a multi-billion dollar electrical distribution power line installation - where he ran multiple crews over the course of the project.

Kris has an old school mentality of believing hard work yields results. That mindset yields excellent results for our clients.

Kris and his wife Melissa work out of our Kingsport, Tennessee office., where they are also raising two young children.
